Uganda is a country with many different landscapes, from rolling hills to sparkling crater lakes, where abundant wildlife roams naturally as well as the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Uganda is still one world’s wildest countries and after the reign of the Notorious Idi Amin Uganda has flourished and remains stable.
Because of its rugged mountains and beautiful lakes, rivers and savannahs, Uganda is considered the home of enormous wildlife resources and the conditions for wildlife have improved so much that today Uganda is a hunter’s paradise. Having only recently reopened hunting the trophy quality coming out of Uganda is truly spectacular. Our area is the ONLY area to hunt the prized Sesse Island Sitatunga and our success rates are excellent. Prices are still relatively low in Uganda and this picturesque country offers exceptional value for money for some very hard to find species. The relative ease of travelling to Uganda makes it ideal to add to an existing safari elsewhere in Africa especially if seeking specific species such as Nile Buffalo and Island Sitatunga.
The hunting season is from January to November
