Ethiopia is officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Bordered by Eritrea in the north, Somalia to the east, Sudan and South Sudan to the west and Kenya to the south. Known by most for being a rich country for archaeological discoveries it is for the rich wildlife populations that draws hunter there every year. Most notably the majestic Mountain Nyala which is considered by many as the most difficult of all the spiral horn antelopes in Africa.
Located in the horn of Africa this country has much to offer the serious hunter. Ethiopia is the home to the Mountain Nyala, which cannot be found in any other place in the world. The Mountain Nyala has a unique spiral design horn, which makes it be considered by many hunters, as the ultimate spiral horned trophy. Ethiopia also provides some excellent leopard and lesser kudu as well as many other species only found in Ethiopia making it the perfect destination to round out species needed for various awards.
The season is considered as being a whole-year season, as the season starts on August till July of the following year.
